Target issue https://github.com/clap rs/clap/issues/6548 Task Fix clap complete::env value completion under Windows PowerShell 5.1 and PowerShell 7.0–7.2, where legacy native argument passing drops the empty current word argument. Preserve the existing PowerShell 7.3+ behavior. Keep the change scoped to the PowerShell registration and its tests. Deliverables Focused upstream code change and a pull request linked to issue 6548. Regression coverage for value completion with an empty current word under legacy PowerShell argument passing, plus a check that PowerShell 7.3+ behavior remains unchanged. Test notes with targeted commands and results. Final submission must include commit hash, PR URL, and test notes.
